Coaching is a private mentoring relationship whereby I meet you where you are at to assist you in your goals through psycho education, advocacy, therapy, and emotional support.
I am a woman of faith but I use methods of counseling to fit your spiritual beliefs. My plan of action is determined by your goals and expectations for our sessions.

The success of coaching depends greatly on your own efforts and desire, because of this, I cannot guarantee success of your treatment. However, you can expect that I will always be prepared for your session with the main purpose of addressing your needs and the goals you set. Feel free to ask me any questions or to express concerns you may have during the consultation process.
After an intake session, we can meet weekly or biweekly to monitor and adjust to any changes in your action plan. I am here to assist you in learning new coping techniques and skills as I journey beside you through your therapy process.
Short term goals take about 4- 6 sessions. Long term challenges will take months. Starting with weekly sessions can be adjusted to biweekly and monthly session as you move into a maintenance phase.
I do not accept insurance.
I do not work with court cases or disability determinations.
I do not diagnose mental health or medical conditions.
Any questions? Feel free to contact me or schedule a free 30 min session.
Asking for Help is Courageous.
Research and Theory
Below are some theories and research that have impacted my life and will benefit your life.
The Trauma Model Theory by Dr. Colin A. Ross focuses on the resolving the core emotions that were the result of the trauma events. No matter the intensity or expression of symptoms that may denote a mental illness, going back to the root emotions of trauma to strengthen the ability to handle the stresses experienced today.
The Bowen Family Systems Theory explains many of the dynamics of family and community relationships. Certain roles are played to within a familial circle that are learned to survive and thrive growing up. These behaviors do not always make for the best relational skills in healthy interaction at work or in new relationships. Recognizing the patterns of behavior can assist in changing personal thoughts and actions to result in a better outcome.
Dr. Jim Wilder’s brain research explains “the how and the whys” to aid in growing healthy relationships. He discusses the brain mechanisms that dominate during stressful events and why the stress reaction do not return to “normal” after repeated traumas.
Dr. Karen Purvis‘ relational research with children from “hard places” at TCU’s Institute of Child Development opened the way for better understanding of brain and nervous system development. Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) creates strategies to help parents make healthy connections with their children. These principles can be applied to relationships in your life and help recognize your connection needs.
HeartSync Ministry is a faith based ministry to heal the “brokenhearted” founded by Father Andrew Miller, LCSW. Principles of HeartSync use scripture to connect with the source of pain and brain research to bring healing with Jesus.
Homeopathic Theory. Homeopathy is a type of medicine made with natural substances such as plants and minerals. The use of homeopathic remedies have developed over the last 200 years and is evolving. But the theories remain solid when it comes to healing. Homeopathy respects symptoms whether physical, emotional or mental. Acute issues heal quickly of not suppressed. Chronic issues use the body’s wisdom as to the best path for healing. Expression of symptoms until resolution means several layers of symptoms unfold during the process. The significance for you is I will treat your “symptoms” with respect and gentleness and use a holistic perspective to support you.
I do not diagnose mental or physical diseases. If you are interested in information regarding homeopathy, I have resources to share with you. I have been a student of homeopathy for 25 years. I raised my children with homeopathy. A recent development of Banerji Protocols, homeopathy has become easier to use. Resources from homeopath Joette Calabrese, HMC, CCH with Practical Homeopathy are also accessible for every individual and family.
