Laws of Nature are Spiritual Laws too. Sometimes we are puzzled by the events in our life. One may call it fate. But there actually are defined laws in nature that determine the events in our life. Can we control our “fate”? Let’s explore that concept.
Laws of Nature
As I have shown here are a few laws in natural world that have the same effect in the spiritual realm.
Generational order in government. Fathers and mothers create the first governmental structure with their child. When this union is broken or damaged, it effects all people involved as well as how they relate in their community.
Newton’s Third Law of Motion. Every action has an equal and opposite reaction. This law describes what happens to a body when it exerts a force on another body. Forces always occur in pairs, so when one body pushes against another, the second body pushes back just as hard.
Sowing and Reaping The seed you put in the ground is the plant that will sprout and grow. It is not going to be a different plant. Growth depends on the type of seed planted. Increase is also a law of nature. What ever you plant, you will reap and it will increase! Who ever saw a field where one seed only produced one more seed? Never!
Law of Attraction Whatever you are attracted to or spend your time thinking about regarding your thoughts, desires and will, it comes into your life. To put it differently this law takes into consideration that our “heart and mind” energy has the power effect our physical and relational reality.
Spiritual Laws
Honor & Respect.
“Respect your father and your mother, as יהוה your Elohim has commanded you, so that your days are prolonged, and so that it is well with you on the soil which יהוה your Elohim is giving you.” Debarim/Deuteronomy 5:16
This law not only affects the family structure, but a community and society at large. As a matter of fact the area of your life that you are dishonorable or disrespectful, that is the area where you will find trouble.
This is especially true in disrespecting mother or father as a child. I’m not talking about obedience in a legalistic manner. That is required of a small child. Respect is a heart issue. It speaks to our attitude and what one did outside of our mother or father’s reach or knowledge.
Paul wrote that it is not only the son or daughter that this concept pertains to. “And you, fathers, do not provoke your children, but bring them up in the instruction and admonition of the Master.” Eph’siyim/ Ephesians 6:4. A parent acting as a Master of the son and daughter must also respect and honor their children as well.
Did you ever want a formula for success and long life? This verse is it. Respect and honor your father and mother. There are many issues that come to mind with family dysfunction. This is not a call to codependency or victimization. But to have your heart positioned to respect and honor in a manner that honors God. This is the basis for respecting all mothers and fathers- all woman and men.
Judgement
“Do not judge, lest you be judged. For with what judgment you judge, you shall be judged. And with the same measure you use, it shall be measured to you.” Mattithyahu/ Matthew 7:1-2
This verse talks about perspective. How do you appraise situations and people? Making a judgement is necessary act of thinking. But how you judge the situation is how you will be judged or treated in life as well.
Sowing & Reaping
“Do not be led astray: Elohim is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he shall also reap.” Galatiym/ Galatians 6:7
The law of sowing and reaping is also the law of increase too. Who ever sowed a seed and only received enough to grow one more plant? As a matter of face it is natural for increase to occur! What is increasing in your life? Where did you sow that seed?
Condemnation
“Therefore, O man, you are without excuse, everyone who judges, for in which you judge another you condemn yourself, since you who judge practise the same wrongs.” Romiyim/ Romans 2:1
This law is a continuation of the last two laws. It has to deal not only with judgement, but vows. Have you ever thought or said, “I will never do that!” What happened later on? Guessing that very thing you vowed became your way of doing things.
Pain Management
Laws of Nature are Spiritual Laws too. There has to be a standard in nature or there would be chaos. But realizing you are doing things wrong is a blessing. Though painful, how would you see the errors of your way?
